c'est cet oiseau qui niche au sein d'une gigantesque colonie de plusieurs centaine de milliers de couples sur Bird island.une photo de cette colonie est visible sur le site dans le théme "paysages des seychelles"

Ce cerf est trés certainement le pere de Thor.Ci c'est bien lui ,il devait être agé de onze ou douze ans.les similitudes du merrain gauche sont telles que ctte supposition me parait tout à fait plausible.Cerf que vous pouvez voir dans les thémes dyrehaven 2001 et 2002 cerf brame

Cette espéce est considérée comme trés vulnérable.Ceci est d'autant plus regrettable qu'il s'agit d'un des symboles de la théorie de l'évolutionélaborée par C.Darwin. photo cormoran aptére

Cette image résume pour moi l'univers rencontré au fil de l'eau. La végétation parfois luxuriante ,même dans nos contrées.La vie représentée ici par le martin pêcheur.L'eau qui ruisselle sous les frondaisons et que l'on imagine. Le bonheur tout simplement. Agression féroce entre une meute de 21 lycaons sur une hyène tachetée (matriarche du groupe). (Lycaon pictus & Crocuta crocuta) Nord du Delta de l'Okavango, Botswana Cette image fait partie d'un reportage complet et d'une série entière consacrée à ce combat entre une meute de Lycaons et un clan de Hyènes. C'est une photo de cette série qui a été primée au concours internationnal "BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year." J'ai réalisé ces images lors d'un séjour exclusivement consacré aux lycaons dans cette région du Botswana que je connais bien. Je suis ces deux meutes de lycaons depuis mai 2004. -- Après avoir été prévenu par radio de la présence de la seconde meute de lycaons dans le camp situé à 30 km du mien, n'ayant plus de véhicule dispo suite à un problème, après avoir sauté dans un avion de brousse pour 10 mn de vol, j'ai ensuite aussitôt embarqué dans le véhicule de mon ami Charles Sebaka, guide à Kwando Safari, avec des clients de l'Agence Objectif Nature que je connaissais bien et que j'ai ensuite guidés pour nous permettre d'être placés juste au bon endroit au bon moment. Au cm près... La série fût époustouflante. La récompense au bout... Un BBC Wildlife avec une image de hyène...c'est pas rien !
