Les mâles qui figurent dans ce groupe arboreront une crinière noire ou dorée vers l'âge de 3 ans. C'est aussi à cet âge qu'ils devront quitter le clan, lorsque le mâle dominant commencera à les traiter en rivaux. Ils partiront alors, menant une vie de nomade, jusqu'à réussir pour chacun d'entre eux à conquérir un nouveau groupe et à s'affirmer comme leader. lions,okavango,bostwana.
