(Ramphocelus carbo) Appelé aussi "Tangara jacapa" ce passereau de taille moyenne au plumage noir velouté, à la gorge et poitrine rouge cramoisi se distingue par son bec de couleur argent brillant. Il se nourrit de fruits, d'insectes et d'invertébrés. Son nid, en forme de coupe, est construit dans un buisson. La femelle pond de deux à trois œufs. L'incubation dure 13 jours et les poussins quittent le nid 12 jours après l'éclosion... La maturité sexuelle survient à l'âge de 10 mois. tangara,bec,argent,pantanal,bresil.
