Manaus : Bateau de touristes à l'endroit de la la rencontre des eaux du Rio Negro (eaux sombres à droite et froides à droite, pH acide) et des eaux du Rio Solimoes (eaux chaudes chargées d'argile en jaune à gauche , pH neutre). Les deux Rivières ne se mélangent pas immédiatement en raison de leurs différentes vitesses d'écoulement, densité, température et acidité. Manaus : Visitors on boat at the "Meeting of the Waters" : a mix between the Rio Negro (dark cool water on the right hand side, ph 7) and the yellow water of the Rio Solimoes (yellow warm Water on the Left Hand Side, ph = 7).
