Un très beau jeune cerf subadulte et pourtant avec une magnifique ramure. Il faut savoir que le cerf n'est vraiment adulte qu' à l'age de huit ans.Age où son squelette a terminé sa croissance. Ce n'est qu'après cet âge, que les bois peuvent prendre toute leur croissance puisque le calcium absorbé dans la nourriture peut exclusivement servir à la croissance des refaits. Début avril on peut être relativement surpris car on peut de trouver au moment de la fin de la première couvée avec les jeunes à l'envol, ou bien rencontrer des couples qui réaménagent le nid soit pour la première nichée, soit pour la seconde !
